ROWKY

ROWKY is a korean webshop I love, and I wanted to tell you a little about it!
I mostly shop vintage clothes at thrift stores and fleamarkets, but every now and again (uh, quite often, really), I order stuff onlne. And, ROWKY is one of my all-tme favorite places on the internet to shop, along with American Apparel and Spank!, obviously.

You might have seen their clothes on a lot of Korean idols, even! (The rollng stones long-sleeve from the bo-peep video, etc etc.) This is obvously because ROWKY originally is a K-fashion store.

Altough ROWKY doesn’t sell any real vintage cothes (only vintage-inspired?), they do front a bunch of great designers (Jeremy Scott, Vivienne Westwood, etc), which perhaps are difficult to find elsewhere (Jeremy scott, anyone?).

The look is mainly very spank! / 80s -inspired (no, really, Spank!-girls, they definitely read your blogs; they even use the pictures you post!); we’re talkng kawaii-esque pastels, cartoony prints, polkadots, and lots upon lots of acid wash. And I love it.

Bascally they’re a more modern, crisper, fresher, less tacky spank-ish kfashion shop. They even have some gyaru-inspired pieces (check out their HATS section, especally)! And yes, petticoats, for all you fairy-kei/decora lovers out there. Gorgeous clothing, really. Many of their garments are on my wishlist.
